Advantage Home Warranty FAQ
When do I get paid from Advantage Home Warranty?
You get paid within 7 days for your warranty evaluation when we receive payment from the closing attorney or client.
How will I know a warranty has been ordered?
All of our warranties are ordered online through the links in the follow up emails. Immediately a confirmation email goes out to the client, agent and closing attorney with a copy of the invoice. You will cc’d on each of these emails so you are in the loop and know a check is on it’s way shortly after the closing date. Occasionally, the sale of the home falls through or the client changes their mind about the warranty. In these cases, we cannot pay the warranty evaluation fee.
What does the Advantage Home Warranty cover and for how long?
This is a comprehensive 12-month warranty that covers all the major systems in the house plus appliances, water heaters and garage door openers. You can view a comparison online by: Clicking Here
What is a "No denied Claims" Policy & what is custom pricing?
Warranty competitors have a community rated system where exactly half of the consumers pay too much and exactly half pay too little. It’s like health insurance where everybody pays the same premium regardless of age or health condition.
Advantage Home Warranty is the first company to reward and target the healthy homes… people who have been paying too much.
This is accomplished this by taking advantage of the house data through the inspection process and adjusting the premium according to risk. AHW treats their warranty product just like an insurance product with an underwriting matrix within the software that dynamically adjusts premium and mandates that the key information is collected. Since we have the inspector’s report on file, we can offer the Nation’s Only No Denied Claim home warranty because a benchmark has been set as to what was working and not working at the time of the inspection.
How do I determine the age of the house and equipment?
Click the “more info” button by each item in the portal for online help with estimating the age of house and key components. We know this is not an exact science and trust that inspectors in general can get pretty close.
