Technical details: How UTM links work
When you share POWRsoft using tracked links, standard UTM parameters (such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and optionally utm_term and utm_content) tell us which partner or
campaign sent the visit. Those values are stored in first-party cookies on our
site (currently with a 30-day lifetime and path=/
), so if someone returns within that window without clicking a new link, we can
still associate the session with your referral for reporting and lead forms.
In simple terms: When someone
clicks on one of your referral links, our site remembers them for 30 days,
so if they sign up later, it’s still tracked as your referral. If they’ve
clicked multiple different referral links, the most recent one is
used.
